Come learn about carnivores in the park with the Presidio Trust Ecology Department! Coyotes, great horned owls, grey foxes, long-tailed weasels and other carnivores reside and hunt in the Presidio, one of the most biologically diverse national parks in the country, right in the heart of the city. Alcatraz Historic Gardens Tour

Join us for a walking tour of the Alcatraz Historic Gardens on Friday, June 26th, from 11:00 am - 12:30 pm. Enjoy an opportunity to meet with senior leadership for a guided tour of the island and its historic gardens and learn about the conservation of the park. This event is open to Park Champions.

Ember Ridge & Farmer's Daughter Trail Hike

Join us on Saturday, July 11th from 11:00 am to 12:30 pm for a hike in the beautiful Rancho Corral del Tierra, in Half Moon Bay. We will start on Etheldore Street and walk up Moss Beach Ranch Road, take the San Vicente Trail along the ridge, and then head down through Ember Ridge Equestrian Center. Difficulty: Easy. Length: about 2 miles.
