The San Francisco Park Stewardship Program invites you to a celebration of Diwali, a festival of lights celebrated in the Indian subcontinent, and marks the beginning of the Hindu Lunar calendar. We will start the morning with planting California indigenous plants, followed by festivities that will include art in nature, talks on various rituals in ecology across the world, and of course, some delicious traditional food!
