Mt. Tam Saturday Hike at East Peak #8 Trailhead- Hosted by Friends of Mt. Tam

Enjoy a Saturday morning walk and discover the geology, ecology and cultural history of the area with others who love Mt. Tam. Led by trained volunteers from the Friends of Mt. Tam, this slower paced hike is approximately 3.5 to 5 miles with under 1,000 feet elevation gain. For beginning hikers, senior hikers, and in-betweeners. Please bring hiking boots, plenty of water and a lunch. The theme of this hike will be "Perspective from the Mountain".
