In September 2022, Access to Adventure Day was held in the Presidio for the first time ever. This was a family fun day that included music, games, cooking lessons, and the chance to explore the new Presidio Tunnel Tops.
Access to Adventure Day was presented by Support for Families of Children with Disabilities, SF Recreation and Parks Department, and the Partnership for the Presidio (the Parks Conservancy, Presidio Trust, and National Park Service). In addition to the co-hosts, community organizations who participated included: Spectrum Surf Camps; De Colores Arts; Legacy Foundation; Special Olympics; Urban Jazz Dance Company; Rhythm for All Drum Circle; SF Public Library; Fogo Na Roupa; SF Fire Department; BORP (Bay Area Outreach and Recreation Program).
