Tom Meyer sought to start an education program to honor his late wife, an avid Golden Gate Raptor Observatory volunteer. Educator Francis Taroc helped launch the program, which focuses on bird migration. But for many of the schoolchildren visiting Hawk Hill, the lessons hold a much deeper, and more personal, meaning.
