Accessibility in the Parks: Beach Wheelchairs Video
Learn about the beach wheelchair program and beach wheelchair accessible shores in the GGNRA
The Golden Gate National Recreation Area (GGNRA) offers a number of accessibility programs that are free to the public. Beach wheelchairs are available on-site at Stinson Beach, Muir Beach, Rodeo Beach, and Baker Beach. If you'd like to use a beach wheelchair at other sites within GGNRA, you can make arrangements to pick up a chair at the National Park Service headquarters building at Fort Mason in San Francisco, Monday-Friday between 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. See NPS.gov for more information on how to request a beach wheelchair.
