Take your Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, or Zoom virtual backgrounds from boring to soaring with these colorful backdrops from the Ancestral Futurism: Looking Back to Repair the Future art exhibit at the Presidio Tunnel Tops. Created by artist Favianna Rodriguez, this art exhibit featured outdoor temporary installations honoring the diversity and interconnectedness of all humans, flora, and fauna that have lived on the land throughout the centuries. The work uplifts the stories, experiences, and images of BIPOC communities with an emphasis on the Ohlone Ramaytush, the original stewards of the land. Themes of justice, freedom, and belonging are woven throughout.
