All the joy and jubilation from Pride in the Presidio 2024

2nd annual LGBTQIA+ Pride celebration hosted by the Partnership for the Presidio

With the Golden Gate Bridge and the city skyline in the background, the parks kicked off San Francisco's LGBTQIA+ Pride Month in spectacular style on Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Presidio Tunnel Tops! Hosted by the Partnership for the Presidio, the 2nd annual celebration was packed with BIPOC queer history hikes, storytelling at Drag Story Hour, a Tea Dance Celebration with the Music Connects Foundation, book giveaways with the San Francisco Public Library Hormel LGBTQIA Center, tabling from the Presidio Community YMCA and the California Academy of Sciences, and much more. 

The joy was palpable: it was written on the faces of park visitors reveling in all the community-focused activities throughout the day. The jubilant celebration was a reminder that it's people who truly make a space welcoming, affirming, and full of joy. 

A huge thank you to the dedicated staff of the Partnership for the Presidio who brought this special event to life!
