Visitors at the Nike Missile Site

This restored Cold War missile site serves as an enduring reminder of the issues and realities of the Cold War on today’s society. Experience the Nike Missile Launch Site at night with a guided tour from park staff, and delve into the history and operations of an anti-aircraft base. This event will take place on Friday, October 18 from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm. Meet at the NIKE Missile Launch Site in the Marin Headlands. There will be no exit or entry after the gates are closed for the program. Ages 13 and up. Dress warmly, and bring water. All sites are subject to closure in the event of inclement weather.
This program is limited to 50 people. Please reserve by calling the Marin Headlands Visitor Center at (415)-331-1540.
