Discover the geology, ecology, and cultural history of the area with others who love Mt. Tam. Led by trained volunteers from the Friends of Mt. Tam, this hike is approximately 7 to 9.5 miles over hilly, rocky terrain and up to 2,200 foot elevation gain. For beginning hikers, senior hikers, and in-betweeners. The theme for this hike will be "Mt. Tam History". Be sure to bring hiking boots, plenty of water and a light lunch.
