Urban Trailblazers (UTB) is a youth leadership program designed for middle school-age youth. We welcome 44 young people from culturally and economically diverse backgrounds to experience their local, state, and national parks over the course of six weeks in the summer. This includes overnight camping at Rob Hill and our National Park.

Interview Date: April 12th at Crissy Field Center (603 Mason Street, Presidio, SF, 94129)
April 15th: Participants will know if they have been accepted into the program.
May 17th - Mandatory Parent & Student Orientation at Crissy Field Center (603 Mason Street, Presidio, SF, 94129)
Summer Session Dates: June 17th - August 1st (No Programming July 2nd-5th)
- Meet Tuesday-Friday, 9:30am-3pm
- Wednesday, June 19th: No Programming
- June 26th - June 27th: Overnight Camping Trip at Rob Hill Campground, San Francisco. Early Dismissal on June 28th
- July 2nd - July 5th: No Programming
- July 22nd - 25th: 4-Day Camping Trip
- August 1st: Blaze Out, Family and Friends Celebration (Late Start and Late Dismissal TBD)
The program is 100% free for participants.
Participants will be awarded a $300.00 education stipend for full completion of the program.
If missed last day the $300 stipend will be forfeited.
Q: How big are each group size?
A: Each group will be 11 students, 2 High School Interns, and 1 adult educator.
Q: Where do I meet everyday for the program?
A: We will be starting off every day at 603 Mason St., SF CA, 94129. If there is a location change, we will give students 2-3 days notice in advance.
Q: When will I get my paycheck?
A: Your $300.00 stipend will take 2 weeks after the last day of the program.
