Your parks need you now
Your support helps fight climate change and promote park sustainability—please give now.
Jan Blum made a lasting impact with her time, energy, and resources on the health of our parks and for current and future generations of habitat as well as visitors, combining her passion for both parks and community.
As we celebrate the Parks Conservancy’s 40th anniversary, we think about the investment you have made in our parks and natural settings around the Golden Gate National Parks, particularly in these most uncertain of times. With your support, we continue to preserve and nurture the future of our parks and plants, wildlife and ecosystem as well as to welcome all communities to enjoy, learn, and recreate in our parklands. Thank you for your commitments as members, volunteers, and bequest donors to benefit our parklands for the next forty years and beyond.
With gratitude,
Chris
We recently caught up with Silver Lupine Circle member Leslie, who shared with us her long connection with Ocean Beach and Lands End.
In celebration of our four decades of protecting parklands and building community, we want to help you protect what you love by creating a free estate plan. The Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is offering our community a free tool, through FreeWill, to help you get started and plan for your future while creating a foundation for our planet.
This online resource is safe, secure and confidential and helps you to write a legal will or trust in 20 minutes or less — for free! Or you can use the tool to organize your assets and your intentions before you consult with your estate planning adviser. Ensure that your family members are taken care of, and share your philanthropic values through a legacy gift for causes that are meaningful to you. Many Conservancy supporters have made a bequest commitment to make an impact on the future of our parklands, and their gifts are a large reason why we’re able to continue caring for the sustainability and enjoyment of your parks during this unusual time.
When you make a planned gift to the Conservancy, you become a member of the Silver Lupine Circle — a community of park lovers who, like you, ensure these national treasures will be protected and nurtured for generations to come. You join an extraordinary group of people — hikers and history buffs, beachcombers and triathletes, volunteers and philanthropists, parents and grandparents, friends and neighbors — who care about preserving these parks as much as you do. We are grateful for our stewards for tomorrow.
If you are inspired to learn more about bequest opportunities and impacts of your estate gift or to join the Silver Lupine Circle, comprised of Conservancy legacy supporters, please contact Audrey L. Yee, Esq. at (415) 561-3016 or ayee@parksconservancy.org. Thank you for your continued support of our amazing parklands!
