Photos: Raíces en la Bahía/Rooted in the Bay event in the Presidio

ALAS (Ayundando Latinos A Soñar) and the Partnership for the Presidio hosted "Raíces en la Bahía/Rooted in the Bay," which offered a unique opportunity for farmworkers and their families to enjoy crabbing, hiking, and beachside recreation in the Presidio of San Francisco as a prelude to National Hispanic Heritage Month 2024. This program aimed to honor the hard work of Bay Area farmworkers with a well-deserved day of relaxation and enjoyment in national parks.

ALAS (Ayudando Latinos a Soñar) y con la ayuda de Partnership for the Presidio presentó “Raíces en la Bahía”, que ofreció una oportunidad especial para los campesinos y sus familias de divertirse con coger cangrejos, ir de excursión y recreo en la playa en el Presidio de San Francisco antes de la celebración del Mes Nacional de la Herencia Hispana 2024. Este programa trató de dar honor al trabajo pesado que hacen los campesinos en la Bahía con un día bien merecido de relajación y disfrute.
