Join us on Mt. Tam for a naturalist adventure! A bioblitz is a quick, intense survey of the species present. Hone your observation skills, become a field biologist for the day, and enjoy some fun(gi) and friends! We will look for mushrooms to add to our scientific collections and also use iNaturalist to document invertebrates, amphibians, and early spring wildflowers. Who knows, maybe we will even see some of the delightful fairy slipper orchids!
The bioblitz will take place from 10am-2pm including a break in the field to enjoy lunch and learn some tools for mushroom and plant identification.
Registration required for all participants 2+ years of age. If registration is full, complete the form and you will be automatically added to the waiting list. People on the waiting list will be notified if a spot becomes available.
