What can we do to help our parks adapt to climate change? Join us to learn about climate change impacts to the Bay Area and Mt. Tam, and for a hands-on project to improve important grassland habitat! We will be using hand tools to remove small trees and shrubs while enjoying views of the Bay and ocean. No experience is necessary. Water, snacks, gloves, and tools will be provided; please bring a water bottle, footwear appropriate for variable terrain, long pants, and long sleeves. Please note that we will walk about one mile to the restoration site. This event is suitable for ages 12 and up; volunteers younger than 18 must be accompanied by an adult.
Meeting location: Find us in the lower Pantoll parking lot at 3801 Panoramic Highway. One Tam staff will provide parking passes. (Google Maps)
