When: Friday, September 13th, 2024, 1–4 pm

Where: Lake Lagunitas, Mount Tamalpais; specific meeting location will be in the confirmation email after registering. Registration is required.

Join us for an enriching day designed to celebrate and support the Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) queer and trans community through connection with nature. This event is a BIPOC affinity space, offering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for queer and trans individuals to connect and celebrate their shared experiences.

Program Highlights:

  • Forest Resilience: Delve into the challenges and importance of forest health in our environment.
  • Meditation: Experience guided meditation tailored to foster inner peace and connection with nature.
  • Nature Journaling: Express your thoughts and observations through nature journaling in a supportive and creative space.
  • Creative Activities: Participate in optional watercolor art or storytelling to enhance your creative exploration in nature.

Additional Information:

  • Dogs Welcome: Please ensure dogs are kept on a leash to create a safe and enjoyable environment for all.
  • Inclusive Space: This event is a BIPOC affinity space, offering a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for queer and trans individuals to connect and celebrate their shared experiences.

Accessibility details: This event is fully outdoors, so masks will be optional, but please tune into the others around you and mask up when approaching anyone else wearing a mask. Please reach out with any specific accessibility needs!
