It's officially, finally summer! The longest day of the year, June 20th marks the summer solstice, or the astronomical change from spring to summer in the Northern Hemisphere. Around the world, cultures celebrate the extra light and seasonal cycle with time outside from dawn to dusk. At our park, we're celebrating all weekend!
Join rangers to dabble in watercolors in the heart of Muir Woods. Inspired by your stroll through this ancient redwood ecosystem, our staff will have all the supplies necessary to create a watercolor postcard to take home or mail to a loved one. We'll even cover the postage!
