Take a stroll through the Marin Headlands for an art-filled afternoon at Headlands Center for the Arts. With an iPhone or iPad, explore artist Vishal K. Dar’s augmented reality installation, Edge of See; Twilight Engines, a suite o site-specific outdoor virtual sculptures at three former military batteries. Then, make your way to the main art center for a guided studio visit with a current Artist in Residence.
Feeling like extending your visit? After the tour, stop by Headlands’ summer Project Space installations opening reception (4:00-6:00 pm) and chat with the artists Kori Newkirk and Rodney Ewing about their work. Following the opening, a seasonal Sunday supper family-style meal will take place in the Headlands’ historic, artist-renovated Mess Hall. These additional activities are optional. For more information or to purchase Sunday Supper tickets, visit headlands.org.
