Join us on a easy to moderate three-mile hike to enjoy a morning outdoors. We will hear the story of the rise of a community and the downfall of a housing development plan that resulted in the conservation of a natural wonder, the Marin Headlands. Two hours.
This is a two hour, three-mile hike. Dress in warm layers and bring plenty of water and snacks. The hike is family friendly but the trail does have some moderate portions. Meet at the Smith-Guthrie parking area. Rain cancels. Reservations required, please call the Marin Headlands Visitor Center at (415) 331-1540. Max 25 participants.
