With the colors of the spring wildflowers, come the colors of the festival of Holi!
For our program on April 18th, we will be celebrating Holi, also known as the "festival of colors" or the "festival of light." We welcome you to an immersive nature experience where we will explore the inter-connectedness between our cultures and the outdoors, and how park stewardship can become a way of celebration. This program is hosted with intention and attention by community members from the South Asian diaspora. We hope to provide an authentic educational experience of the complexities of biological and cultural diversity in nature.
Please join us for a morning of habitat restoration, followed by dancing, arts and crafts, and delicious Indian food. This event is family friendly- everyone is welcome!
