Tuesday, November 28, is #GivingTuesday—a global day dedicated to giving back, and the Golden Gate National Parks Conservancy is marking the day with a very special challenge:

We’ve set a #GivingTuesday goal of raising $10,000 to support our Packing the Parks program that gives Bay Area youth the outdoor adventure of a lifetime. This special four-day backpacking trip will take 40 young people on an adventure through the parks. Youth participants will hike eight miles a day, exploring the parks, and learning about the stories and history that define these parks.
