Epic Tam for the Whole Fam
Bring the kids and enjoy an epic but easy, family-friendly, wheelchair-accessible walk on Mt. Tam co-hosted by Friends of Mt Tam and One Tam! Join us as we enjoy the incredible views from the Verna Dunshee trail and discover plants and animals along the way. We will wrap up at the historic “gravity train” where we will meet Friends of Mt. Tam docents and learn about the train that used to whoosh down the mountainside. Following the hike, we can point you in the direction of many options if you would like to extend your adventure on the mountain. The hike is less than 1 mile and parking passes will be provided.
Meeting location: We will meet at the parking lot at East Peak parking lot. From Pantoll Rd, make a right on E Ridgecrest Blvd ,and continue 4.4 miles to the road's end (Google map link here). Parking passes will be provided.
