Bat Mist Netting at Muir Woods

Come join us at Muir Woods to learn about bat ecology and our exciting bat monitoring and inventorying program! We will have a brief discussion about bats, demonstrate acoustic monitoring, setup mist nets, and take a close up look at the bats as they are safely caught and released! 

Event will be canceled in the event of rain. Space is limited and registration is required (below). Please bring warm clothes and dress in layers. We recommend bringing your own headlamps, flashlights and water bottles. We will meet at the Muir Woods Visitor Center at 6:30pm.
