Hike the stunning Redwood Creek Trail on Mt. Tamalpais with One Tam partner staff from the National Park Service and California State Parks. The trail links Muir Beach and Muir Woods - the ancient redwood forest to the floodplain by the sea - weaving its way through beautiful oak and bay woodlands, and alder, willow, and elderberry-lined areas along Redwood Creek. Redwood Creek is home to endangered coho salmon, threatened steelhead trout, and California red-legged frogs, as well as diverse plant and bird species. We'll explore our partnership's important work on this beloved trail to protect the surrounding ecosystems while enjoying this special area.
We'll meet at the Muir Woods nursery parking lot at 10:00 am. Bring good walking shoes, sun protection and water!
