Video: The importance of community at Presidio Tunnel Tops

Artist Favianna Rodriguez was the first to have an installation at Presidio Tunnel Tops for the opening in July 2022. Her piece, "Ancestral Futurism: Looking Back to Repair the Future" featured outdoor temporary installations honoring the diversity and interconnectedness of all humans, flora, and fauna that have lived on the land throughout the centuries. Favianna was one of 12 members of the inaugural Presidio Activator Council: Bay Area community leaders, activists, and artists representing communities historically underrepresented in national parks.
